: p-Nitrophenol is more acidic thar meta and ortho. isomers.

The electron withdrawing group, stabilises the phenoxide ion through effect at the ortho and para position. The effective delocalisation of negative charge in phenoxide ion enhance the acidic strength of phenols, The group at meta position will show effect only, The group at ortho position forms hydrogen bond with -OH group.
Ethanol being primary alcohol does not react with Lucas reagent at room temperature. Tertiary alcohol will give turbidity immediately.
